Tips for Promoting Your Society
- Keep your society page up to date - use your committee admin tools to keep your society details up to date, including logo, description and social media accounts.
- Freshers and Refreshers Fairs - book a stall at our annual Freshers Fair in October and Refreshers Fair in January to promote your society to new students. All committee members will recieve an email when bookings open, so keep an eye on your university emails over Summer!
- What's On calendar - add your events to the SU website using your committee admin tools, and they'll be listed for free on our What's On calendar a full overview of everything happening for Cambridge Students all in one handy location.
- Member signups - if you choose to use the SU website to manage your memberships (either free or paid), you can use the website to send emails to your members, or create a mailing list, e.g. for different teams within your club.
Running Society Elections
Our online elections platform is free, secure and easy to use. The system uses live student data from the university and society membership lists held on the site to run elections, so if your society isn't managing its membership through the directory, make sure to send a list of members CRSIDs to activities@cambridgesu.co.uk ahead of the election.
