Why should I go to Refreshers Fair

What is Refreshers Fair:
Cambridge SU’s Refreshers Fair is another opportunity to connect with or join societies, meet new people and bag some great freebies! If you missed out on Freshers’ Fair in October, then this is your chance to get the experience on a slightly smaller (but just as great) scale!

New to this year:
We have changed location! Refreshers Fair will now be held in our own building, the University Centre. The Fair will span over all three floors, finishing in the SU Lounge where you’ll have the chance to chat with your Sabbatical Officers, and SU Campaigns whilst also finding out what the SU can do for you and the services we offer.

There will also be a ‘ Welfare Area’ located on the third floor in an unfrequented space. Water, earplugs, snacks and resources will be available, so if you are feeling overwhelmed at all during your time this space is for you to use. Simply ask one of the stewards (they will be wearing a pink t-shirt) and they will happily direct you there.

What to expect:
70 societies will be joining us, ranging from Hobbies to Politics to Sports, we've got your interests covered. You can meet these societies on the second floor in the dining hall. National brands such as Dominos and Pyramid Posters will be attending, offering discounts and freebies which can be found on the first floor. Located on the second floor will be a Vintage clothing sale, so you can shop to your heart's content.

Finally, if you’re interested in making a change to Student/University life, joining a community or just picking up some more freebies, then make sure to check out the third floor where the SU, SU Campaigns and Student Advice Service will be located.

Key information:
