Powers and duties
The Graduate Union President is the primary representative of postgraduate students at the University of Cambridge, and is the chair of the union's Board of Trustees.

Employment details
The Graduate Union President is a sabbatical officer – and the role is a full-time, salaried position. The elected candidate will take office on 15 July 2018, and will be expected to start employment on 2 July 2018 (there may be some flexibility on start date – see "eligibility" section for details).
The current salary of a Graduate Union sabbatical officer is £22,084. The incoming President's salary will be this figure, plus an inflationary uplift.
