Biography:

Demetrius A M-A Floudas is an Associate of Hughes Hall. He is also a Fellow of the Hellenic Institute of Foreign and International Law and an Adjunct Professor at the Law Faculty of Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University in Russia. 

He is currently leading a World Bank Project to enhance and modernise the Legal Aid system of Azerbaijan.  Moreover, since 2017, he advises the Egyptian Government on matters of International Trade, including potential post-Brexit arrangements with the UK.

In 2012-2014, Prof Floudas was a Visiting Professor at the School of International Law of the Moscow State Institute for International Relations (MGIMO-University), teaching an intensive course 'Financial Law of the European Union'  for the Master's Degree in International Finance Law. Previously, he has headed the EU project for the Accession of the Russian Federation to the World Trade Organisation.
