The postgraduate body of women at Cambridge University has enjoyed a steady rise in numbers over the past two decades. Within the University there are numerous groups that work to the raise awareness of issues facing postgraduate women in Cambridge; to facilitate social meetings and networking among female postgraduates; and, ultimately, to actively encourage a healthy and congenial environment for university women. Links to many of these are included at the bottom of this page.
Many MCRs have a Women’s Officer, and CUSU has a Women’s Officer and campaign (the “Women’s Campaign”), who you are welcome to contact for information and support. The Graduate Union also has dedicated Women’s Officer on its Part-Time Officer team.
