<title>GU/CUSU Student Advisor and Joint Student Support Officer</title>
<link>http://www.gradunion.cam.ac.uk/news/item.php?t=12640</link>
<description>We have been working hard this year on a joint proposal with CUSU to secure university funding for a full time, professional Student Advisor alongside sharing a joint Sabbatical Student Support Officer. With great pleasure I can now announce that we have received information that the University Administered Funds Scrutiny Group has approved our funding request! Both the GU and CUSU will now be holding referenda to ask for the necessary constitutional changes to be made. These will take place on 4th - 9th February (with GU paper voting on 10th February). Assuming votes are in favour of the changes we then hope to hold elections for the 2010-11 GU President at the same time as all CUSU Sabbatical elections and that of the proposed new GU/CUSU Student Support Officer from 1st - 3rd March.
