General meetings provide an opportunity for all members to come and voice their opinions and vote on matters concerning the GU. An annual general meeting is helf each Michaelmas term, a general meeting should also be held prior to a referendum, and extraordinary general meetings may be called form time to time to discuss specific issues. The regulations governing geneal meetings are set out in Section 15 of the GU Constitution.
