Lounge
Drop into our comfortable and relaxing lounge, the perfect central location for study, breaks or catching up with friends. Our bright and spacious lounge is furnished with café-style tables, sofas and arm chairs.
Bring your own refreshments and help yourself to chilled and boiling filtered water from the dispenser (cups not provided).
Free WiFi is available and we screen BBC News 24 (muted with subtitles) on plasma TVs throughout the day. We also provide a range of
newspapers, and you can borrow books and games.
Wireless Internet Access
Bring your wireless-enabled laptop to the GU and surf the net for free in our comfortable lounge, using the University’s Lapwing Wireless Service or eduroam.
If you have a University Raven account, please visit the University Computing Service’s website for instructions, at http://www.ucs.cam.ac.uk/wireless/.
If you do not have a Raven account, please contact the GU’s Administrator to request a temporary user ticket and instructions.
